Announcing: Go An Ah Play Games Dropshipper’s Network

Are you a board or card game designer and would like an outlet to expose your invention to the world?

Why not unite with other game designers and together promote each others games.

Go An Ah Play Games has developed the Go An Ah Play Games Dropshipper’s Network to create Dropship Partnerships.

Drop shipping is a supply chain management technique in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and shipment details to either the manufacturer or wholesaler, who then ships the goods directly to the customer. As in all retail businesses, the retailers make their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price.

Together We Can Help Each Other!

Gambit 7

Gambit 7 is a new kind of trivia game – you don’t need to know the answer to win! In Gambit 7, all players simultaneously write their answer to the same question and place it face-up on the Betting Board. All questions have a numerical answer, so even players that don’t know the subject matter at hand can make a guess!

Players then have a limited time to either bet on themselves or bet on another player’s answers. The winning answer is the one that is closest to being correct, but no higher! Players earn points for either getting the winning answer or for betting on the player who does. The one with the most points after 7 rounds of questions is the winner!

Gambit categories include: Business & Economy; Art & Literature; Geography & Nature; History & Government; Pop Culture; Science; Sports & Leisure; and Wild Card. The set of questions in Gambit 7 were designed to be culturally appropriate for each specific language version.

While Gambit 7 can be played with as few as 3 players, the more friends and family you gather, the more fun and excitement you will experience! With more than 7 players, simply split into teams of 2 or 3 and work together to answer the questions and decide how to bet.

Queen’s Necklace

Paris, on the eve of the French Revolution…

From the slums, where purse-snatchers and courtesans work their respective trades, to the inner salons of the Louvre, where confessors, royal astrologers, musketeers and court favorites mingle and scheme in hushed conversations, the position of King’s jeweler has suddenly become a lot more dangerous!

Queen’s Necklace is a game of gem-selling, influence and intrigue at the Court. Two to four players compete in the role of Royal Jeweler to sell rare jewels to the Queen and her court.

Jeweler’s loupe in hand, you must decide how best to spend your hard-earned ducats: on the acquisition of beautiful gems, diamonds, emeralds, and rubies; or to buy the favors of the various court followers. After three years of craftsmanship, the jeweler who sells the most precious gems and builds the largest fortune will receive the coveted title of King’s Jeweler and a place at the Court!

NG International announces the release of Dakota

Take part in the epic history of the Wild West colonization, leading a group of settlers or a tribe of natives: NG International announces the release of Dakota, a board game for 3 to 5 players with linear mechanics inspired to the conquest of the West, created by Piero Cioni and published by NG International in Italian and English languages, with partners for the German (Heidelberger) and Japanese (Hobby Japan) editions. Dakota is just arrived in Europe and will be available in America by the end of February.

In Dakota, each player belongs to one of the two factions, settler or native, and tries to achieve his objectives by making alliances from time to time with the others, independent of their parties, thanks to a game mechanic that allows to play in a balanced way even with a different number of settler and native players. The settlers try to exploit the territory in order to make it productive for industry and agriculture, while the natives must make all efforts to keep the territory virgin as long as possible, while at the same time using its resources for the prosperity of their own tribe.

Dakota is the first game published by NG International with the Tenki Games brand.

TC Tennis

Designer Terry Coleman has served up VPG’s first ever sports strategy game, TC Tennis. Choose from 24 of the greatest tennis champions in history and pit them against each other in a fun, fast-paced game that isn’t packed full of tables and charts. Instead, the entire game is designed to get you thinking about strategy right from the first strike of the ball. Each player in the game is rated for various Strokes such as 1st Serve, Backhand, Forehand Volley and Touch, from a low of F (a terrible shot for a pro player), to AA (one of the legendary Strokes in tennis history). Play Strategy cards to increase your scoring chances, defend against your opponent’s Strokes, or try a variety of Tactics (Crowd the Net, Pick up the Pace, etc.) to shake things up.

The fun comes not only from the wide variety of Strategy cards in play at any particular time, but also from the effects different cards have on each other. Do you risk hitting a Cannonball Serve, knowing that your opponent might have secretly played a card that negates it? Can you keep using Go for the Lines as a Tactic, knowing that you might miss, and hurt your scoring chances? And depending on which players are involved, the strategic decisions each set only multiply. As you master the Basic game and move on to the Intermediate and Advanced games, we add the possibility of a Set ending earlier, more Random Events, Tiebreakers, and even Fatigue and Injuries, for those who want more realism, without much increase in complexity.

Stage your own tournaments, find out which courts best fit your style, and serve up some of the greatest Strokes the world has ever seen! Will you lead your favorite players to victory? Put the ball in your court with TC Tennis!
